For SmokeGENIE:

How to charge my device?

While the batteries are removable, all SmokeGENIE, SmokeNINJA & Haze Fan comes with USB-C charging function.
We recommend using a 5V, 2A ~10W power source. 

If the machine is charging correctly, it will display the following signal:

Why is my equipment not charging?

If the machine is charging correctly, it will display the following signal:

Since SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA have built-in charging protection, the machine will stop charging if the power source could damage the device. Please make sure a 5V, 2A ~10W power source is used. 

While it works with standard type USB-C cable, but there are too many variations on the market. We would recommend using the charging cable comes with your device.

Why do I keep seeing "TIME OUT" warning?
"Time Out"
"TIME OUT" means the heating unit inside the chamber is under fuelled and may cause overheating if it continues to operate. This is part of our protection system to keep the machine safe and durable.
 
It could be caused by one of the following:
  • Outdoor Cold Weather (Below 10 Degrees Celsius) –
In extreme cold temperatures (Below 10 Degrees Celsius), you might still trigger TIME OUT in smoke levels 1 – 5, because of the liquid being less "runny" in the cold.
In this case, simply perform one of the Fixes below:
FIX 1: Run SmokeGENIE in low power setting (LV 1 Smoke, LV 5 Wind) for 30 seconds.
FIX 2: Place the chamber in warm area (above 20 Celsius) for 5 minutes. Install back to SmokeGENIE.
  • Fog Liquid level is low –
Check the oil level of the Chamber. SmokeGENIE will keep showing "TIME OUT" when fog liquid is almost out. This can be solved by simply refilling the Chamber. See refill instructions below:
  • SmokeGENIE/SmokeNINJA is tilting downwards –
"Spray Downward"
Make sure the machine is not operating downward. Due to the design of the chamber, it can only operation upside down for a short period of time (~1 min) and needs to be refuel between pulses.
"All Angle Spray"
If you need your smoke to flow downward, simply use our accessories and nozzles to guide the smoke downward.
"ACC"
  • Chamber is not installed properly –
When Chamber is not installed correctly, or there is dirt in the adapter, it may affect the connectivity. Perform the following steps to ensure this is not causing the issue:
1)     Remove the chamber form machine
2)     Clean the adapter on both chamber and machine
3)     Reinstall and tighten chamber until you feel resistance.
  • SmokeGENIE is in smoke levels 6 – 10(NOT Applicable for SmokeNINJA) –
Since smoke levels 6 – 10 in “PRO MODE” are designed for intense short bursts, which will cause liquid to dry out faster. This is completely normal, you just need to wait for the message to disappear after 3 seconds, then you can start again.
If you want to make longer pulses of over 10 seconds, we suggest using smoke levels 1 – 5.
  • Chamber is Damaged –
Each chamber is expected to support ~100 hours of spray time.
Chamber will reach the end of its lifecycle after ~100 hours of spray time or shorter if Chamber is forced to output repeatedly, ignoring the “TIME OUT” warning,
This normally company with a light burnt odour in the smoke.
If this is the case, it is highly likely that the chamber is damaged, or has reached the end of its lifecycle. Please replace a new chamber.

Can the machine work as a hazer?
Both SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA can be used as a hazer.

SmokeGENIE + RC Haze Fan is recommended for studio up to 3,000sqft(300sqmt)
SmokeNINJA is recommended for small studio up to 500sqft(50sqmt)
How fast can it haze up a room?
Both SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA has a 500CFM output. Meaning Both SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA can haze a 500sqft studio with 1 min of spray time.

For larger spaces, we recommend using the SmokeGENIE. When used with Haze fan, each unit of SmokeGENIE can support hazing for sutdio up to 3,000sqft(300sqmt).

Does the machine support continuous smoke output?

SmokeGENIE - 

SmokeGENIE is designed survive the intense production. All 5 power levels in standard mode can support continue output until the battery or chamber runs dry.

For LV 6-10 in "PRO MODE", they are designed for intense short burst. Below is the ecpected continous spray time for each power settings:

SmokeNINJA - 

SmokeNINJA can support 1 minuate of continue spray at max power setting(Fog).

Why is the device spitting liquid?


This is caused by heating unit inside the chamber getting oversoaked with fog liquid. This does NOT damage the condition of the chamber, and here is how to fix it:

Is there a limit on Operation Angle?
Both SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA can support 360-degree operation, but due to the design, they will have a time limit when sprayed downward.

For downward spray over a minute, we recommend using the nozzle kits to re-direct the smoke:
How to replace the chamber?
How to refill?
To refill, simply lift up the silicone cap on top of the chamber and fill it with the liquid comes with the device. 

Make sure to CLOSE the silicone cap tightly after refill.
When to replace the chamber?
There are 4 signs to look for that hints at a damaged chamber:
  1. When the machine displays "TANK FAULTY" when chamber is installed.
  2. When the Chamber starts to produce an unpleasant burning smell (Usually after ~100 hours of spray time.)
  3. Machine keep prompting "TIME OUT" warning during normal operation.
  4. When the smoke becomes very pale even in high smoke levels.
In these 4 cases, it is highly likely that the chamber is damaged, or has reached the end of its lifecycle. Please replace a new chamber.
How long can a chamber last?
Each Chmaber is designed to support 100 Hours of smoke output.
How to refill?
To refill, simply lift up the silicone cap on top of the chamber and fill it with the liquid comes with the device. 

Make sure to CLOSE the silicone tap tightly after refill.
What is the liquid consumption?

Liquid consumption:
Fog ~ 0.5 ml/min

Why is my chamber leaking?

Leakage is mostly likely caused by the following:
  1. Silicone tap not being close tightly.
  2. Excessive Liquid accumulated inside the smoke output.
  3. Chamber is not stored inside the capsule/ installed on machine.
Removing the excessive Liquid with the following steps should stops the leaking.

Also make sure the Chamber is either stored inside the capsule or installed properly on the machine.
How to store leftover liquid? Is there an expiration date?

In Chamber –

Long Term: The main reason for the smoke liquid to expire is due to its exposure to the oxygen in the surrounding air. For long term storage we suggest user to store the chamber in the Air-sealed capsule that comes with the Smoke Chamber. There is no need to remove the liquid before the storage. When store in the air-tight chamber, it can have over 6 months of shelf life.

Short Term (Less than 12 hours): The chamber can be store temperately (Less than 12 hours) without the air-sealed capsule if installed on a machine.

When store in the air-tight chamber, in room temperature and away from sunlight, the leftover liquid can have over 6 months of shelf life.

In Bottle –

Simply store in the air-sealed bottle comes with the refill. Make sure the cap is screwed on tightly.
When stored in the bottle, in room temperature and away from sunlight, the leftover liquid can have over 18 months of shelf life.
How long can one bottle last?
Both SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA uses the highly condensed Cloud Formula and is much more efficient compares to liquid used on traditional fog machines. 

The liquid consumption at max level is 0.5ml/min. Meaning that 100ml bottle can support 200mins of spray time at MAX power. 
What is the signal type & Operation Range of the remote?
Remote signal is weak
This is likely caused by low remote battery.

Please check if the red light is dim or blinking when remote is pressed. If so, the battery level might be low, and should be replaced.

What does warranty covers?
Our 2-year warranty for the SmokeGENIE & SmokeNINJA is eligible to all users who bought from our authorised dealers.

The warranty covers any defect due to manufacturing; any issues caused by FIRE, WATER or PHYSICAL damage is NOT COVERED. 

The chamber is considered as a consumable and is therefore NOT covered by this warranty unless its damaged upon receipt.
