What’s the idea behind this shoot?
Coming into this shoot, I knew my client was an athlete. He has played basketball his whole life, and this is something that the clients really wanted to showcase. I knew I wanted a dramatic shot with just him and the basketball. Adding the SmokeNINJA gave me the added drama I was looking for to make this shot one of a kind for this athlete.
How did you feel about the fog machine SmokeNINJA?
I love the SmokeNINJA. It is small and powerful and makes a statement in the photos. I like the different tools in one hand held device plus the amount of time, energy and space it saves me when packing for these sessions. The smoke that comes how has a different ‘texture’ and creates a whole mood that makes an impact!
Any tips and tricks for our users?
Patience. There are always outside factors such as vents/fans that can pull the smoke in other directions. Make sure you have your lighting set up properly to really make it pop.
